Wouldn't even make sense to share your main on a different account if your intention is to hide your library since steam doesn't provide cross-account privileges. Enabling family view only works on your main account. If your old main account has the stuff you want to hide, create a new account, enable family share from your old account and play most anything you want under your new account that you let others see/know of.
